The front suspension is fully independent and has unequal length upper and lower wishbones, which carry coil springs and shock absorber units.
The wheel hub assembly is carried by a stub axle bolted to a vertical link which in turn forms the attachment for the outer ends of the wishbones, together with the steering arm and brake calipers.
An anti roll bar is attached to the chassis by rubber insulated links and to the lower end of the dampers on each side. This item seems to be very critical to handling.
On my own car the rubber mountings perished and handling suffered noticeably. Once new rubbers were in place the handling was transformed.
